Privacy policy

ID Photo is a free ID-photo app. Updated September 30, 2026.

Photos and face processing

Captured or selected photos, person outlines and face positions are processed on your device. The app's photo-processing features do not send photos or face information to the developer's servers. Face positions and outlines are used for editing, not identity recognition or authentication.

Access and storage

The camera is used to take photos. Import uses the system photo picker and accesses the images you select. Add-to-Photos permission is used when saving. Edits are processed in memory; JPEGs for sharing are written to the app's temporary storage. Preferences such as language stay on your device. Delete exported photos or shared copies at their respective destinations. Deleting the app removes its local app data.

Third-party SDK

Google MediaPipe Tasks is used to estimate person regions. The bundled SDK's NOTICE states that it does not send input images to Google and that it sends API performance and utilization metrics to Google. Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy . The developer has not added advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs.

Sharing and external links

You choose where to share an image. Sharing destinations, official websites and email services apply their own privacy policies. You do not need to attach photos to support emails.
